Benjamin-Chung Lab
Stanford University

The Benjamin-Chung Lab develops high-quality evidence on which health interventions work, for whom, and how to scale them across populations and settings. Based at Stanford University’s Department of Epidemiology & Population Health, our research spans infectious disease, environmental health, and maternal and child health, with active field studies and collaborations in Bangladesh, Tanzania, and Peru. We apply causal inference methods to large-scale randomized and observational studies to generate evidence that generalizes across settings and informs scalable public health action. We are committed to rigorous, reproducible, and open science.
